I won't lie to you, my initial incentive for even looking at this foundation was because it is, indeed, from Chanel. After a while of simply staring at it's packaging in all of it's beautiful and practical glory I asked the sales assistant for a colour match and a sample - because i'm not quite superficial enough to buy a product based on it's packaging. The next thing I knew, I had fallen madly and deeply in love with it and rushed out to buy a bottle (and so did my mum).
Let me tell you, it ticks every box. And then it shows you a couple more boxes that you didn't even know existed and it ticks those off too.
First things first, I despise heavy coverage foundation. It's not that I don't have my fair share of blemishes, under-eye circles or redness that i'd like to be covered up - I just feel as though i'm smearing paint on my face. Revlon Colourstay? My absolute nightmare, the very thought of it makes me shudder.
Light to medium coverage is most definitely my jam (and by jam I mean foundation) and this product fits the bill. It covers up discolouration and smaller imperfections whilst looking completely natural. Do not underestimate how light and smooth the liquid is; it's so magical it wouldn't surprise me if Chanel employed fairies to make the stuff.
It doesn't feel like you're wearing foundation at all, it sinks in quickly, it applies like a dream - no brush or sponge applicators needed - and a little goes a reaaally long way. It gives a slight healthy 'glow' without being too dewy (I still wear powder with it as I have quite oily skin and I like it to stay put), and to top it all off it has SPF 15.

Could it be anymore perfect?
No is the answer to that question, no it can not.
